Josie resides in Shropshire.  She was born in Lancashire and studied at Wigan College of Art.
Josie was recently shortlisted by the Royal Academy at the Summer Exhibition, with her painting Autumn Sycamores.
Her uniqueness lies in the capturing of natural light and the way this is displayed in her paintings as they interact with the landscape, alongside the unexpected perspective and sense of space, igniting her imagination.
