Agnes Miller Parker was born in Scotland and studied at the Glasgow School of Art.
Most of her work was carried out in London and the South where she was 
a renowned book illustratorwith her black and white woodcut engravings.
One of her best-known sets of illustrations was for a 1940 edition of 'A Shropshire Lad' published by Harrap.
